The bed is amazing and so comfortable. Especially grateful for the scent free room! We have autoimmune conditions and this is essential! Love that you are close to The Story Cafe which is an excellent rated restaurant. Love the shuttle service to airport and staff is great! Shower is excellent. Love the more eco-friendly products. Love the shower dispensers they were easy to use. Love that you serve breakfast. We don't tend to eat it though due to health reasons and preferring less processed foods. Maybe getting more locally baked goods would help. Coffee is not great. We love our espresso.

There is a shuttle from the airport. The staff are polite, friendly and courteous. We felt welcome. The breakfast, for one of those simple continental style breakfasts was amazingly good. And it's near the train station as well. I'd stay there again. To be honest, in the past, I've stayed at the Days Inn next door, as it's cheaper. But, the Days Inn is getting more expensive, and as the price was only $10 different, this time I opted for the Hampton Inn, and it's very, very much worth the extra $10. The Hampton Inn will likely become my new "go to" airport hotel for YVR.

Front desk staff was very friendly and responsive. We needed to check our bags after arriving from cruise ship earlier than check-in. She placed all bags in a secure location and retrieved them for us when it was time to check-in. She scheduled our trip to the airport on the van and gave us information about the pick-up procedure. She provided us with a local map and gave us instructions for walking to nearby shops.

It was clean and well kept in the rooms, ask for an extra bar soap and it seemed to be an inconvenience. We like to have one bar at the sink and one bar in the shower. Anything we asked for extra had to be thought about before it was given if at all. But the hotel looked nice from the room perspective as the rooms were clean and well kept

The elevators responded super-fast. The room seemed to lag as half of the room reached the desired temperature and the other half took a while. The commode was old school low. I think they should be at least 19 inches tall. This will accommodate seniors better.
